It’s Recess is excited to announce Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound (BBBSPS) as the exclusive benefactor of this summer’s Seattle Tug of War.

BBBSPS brings adult mentoring to underserved youth in the Puget Sound region. It is the largest mentoring organization in Washington State, and works to make help children build the attitudes and behaviors needed to stay in school, succeed academically, make healthy choices, and create promising futures.

As the official benefactor of Seattle Tug of War, not only will a portion of participation fees go to BBBSPS, but tuggers will have the opportunity to support the organization directly through our, soon to be released, online donation system. BBBSPS will also be tabling at the event for those interested in signing up as a mentor or learning more.
